PRESIDENT'S LETTER

July 15, 2007

Dear EAPAT Members,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to another exciting year of EAPAT seminars. I would like to thank Michael Guest for his leadership with the Board, and who is stepping down after serving 2 years as EAPAT President.

As newly elected EAPAT President, I would like to introduce the other Board Members:

  • Joanne Bergen - Wilson Banwell EAP

  • Goldie Newman – Mandel Newman Associates

  • Marion Yoshida – Homewood EAP

  • Darren Harris – Towers Perrin

  • Ralph Kelly – Consultant

  • Louise O’Grady – Ceridian EAP

  • Roxanne Derhodge – Shepell-FGI

We are already actively planning for the 2007-8 year, and anticipate your attendance at our seminars. As you may know, we aim to find topics of interest to corporate clients, EAP representatives, clinicians in private practice, and individuals involved in the human resources and benefits fields. As well, EAPAT seminars are great places to network with other like-minded associates.

We welcome interested persons to attend our seminars as our guests and to consider EAPAT membership. Dates of seminars for 2007-8 have been set as follows:

  • November 1, 2007

  • March 20, 2008

  • March 20, 2008

  • June 5, 2008

Details of the November 1 seminar will be out in the fall. If you would like to receive regular invitations regarding our seminars, or simply to get more information about our organization, please let me know by sending me an e-mail at pres@eapat.org.

Sincerely,

Linda Hochstetler
President, EAPAT Board of Directors
Representative, Family Services Employee Assistance Programs
