BECOMING A MEMBER OF EAPAT
WHO SHOULD JOIN EAPAT?
EAPAT will be of value to the individuals in the EAP field including:
- occupational health nurses
- human resource professionals

- benefit consultants

health and safety staff
- labour representatives
business persons interested in learning about workplace effectiveness solutions that can directly improve their organizations'
productivity and profitability.
The broad cross section of members results from our commitment to develop a membership that fully reflects the diversity of the EAP field.
Members are invited to play an active role in the Association. Regular consultation takes place on the development of Association
policies and positions.
Two types of memberships are available...

INDIVIDUAL: For those who are involved or interested in the delivery of
Employee Assistance Programs.

ORGANIZATIONAL: For companies that allow three individuals of the organization
to attend EAPAT functions.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN EAPAT?
Belonging to EAPAT will enhance your understanding of the EAP field through
educational
seminars and networking opportunities. Belonging to EAPAT has also helped individuals in their job search and career
development.
You will become more aware of trends and innovative ideas taking place within the industry. EAPAT supports and promotes EAP research, development and
collaboration with other EAP Associations.
Equally important, EAPAT will endeavour to serve as your advocate on relevant EAP issues and interact with governments regarding policy and decision-making as required.
Educational credits are available for recertification with certain professional organizations and we are looking for ways to create more opportunities with other
organizations.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
EAPAT presents a series of
seminars throughout the year on a wide range of timely and stimulating topics, which will broaden your EAP knowledge.
NETWORKING
Belonging to EAPAT provides opportunities for members to share ideas, information and resources in a congenial setting and stay abreast of happenings and events
in the industry.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
EAPAT publishes a directory of its members. The directory will include a listing of EAP service providers who are active members. The membership listing is
catagorized by types of membership and may include an indication of the types of services the members offer.
