WHAT IS AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM (EAP)?

Employee Assistance Programs provide confidential counseling and referral services for individuals as well as their family members on a wide range of personal, emotional and work life issues.

In addition, EAP's are also able to provide group seminars on a wide range of topics such as smoking cessation, stress management, change management, to name a few examples.

At any given time an estimated 20-25% of individuals experience challenges at work and outside of work which can affect job performance.

EAP's are now recognized by employers and employees alike as playing an integral part in the well-being of the workplace both from a human perspective and from a cost benefit perspective.
